Other options include Best Buy or local tech shops authorized to fix your brand. Even if you have decided to move on and replace your phone you have options rather than just 8discarding it. 

There are a number of organizations that accept phones to 9refurbish or sell. The Salvation Army is one, another is the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. And consider selling your old phone. It may not have much value to you, but the materials and parts in it can make it an attractive purchase for others.
