The airline blaming the travel disaster on winter storm delays, 7aggressive flight scheduling and its own 8outdated infrastructure.

As other airlines seem completely recovered from the recent winter storm, Southwest already cutting over 2,300 Thursday flights admitting this could go on for days.

For those struggling to get home, experts say book as soon as possible with another airline. Southwest policy is they will not do it for you. And note, American and United Airlines are 9capping fares on some Southwest routes.
