Putin Accuses West Of Trying To Destroy Russia
푸틴, 서방 세계가 러시아를 파괴하려 한다고 비난해
The Kremlin is 1accusing the West of trying to 2destroy Russia.
“They have one goal - to break up the former Soviet Union and its main part - the Russian Federation.”
During an interview with Russian state TV, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the goal of leading NATO countries is to quote “3inflict a 4strategic 5defeat on us so that our people suffer.”
“How can we, under these conditions, not 6take into account the nuclear potential? They supply Ukraine with weapons worth tens of billions of dollars, because this is 7participation in the usual sense.”
Speaking of participation, US officials say they are 8confident China is considering sending 9lethal aid to Russia in its war against Ukraine.
“Beijing will have to make its own decisions about how it proceeds, whether it provides 10military assistance, but if it goes down that road, it will 11come at real costs to China.”
As the Russian invasion of Ukraine enters its second year, President Joe Biden’s administration’s stance on the issue is clear.
“We’re not gonna 12stand by and allow one country to roll over another country and try to 13wipe it off the map. And we’re gonna build and have 14built a coalition of more than 50 nations to resist that and help the Ukrainians defend their own territory.”
