Man Finds Message In Bottle From Ireland
Man Finds Message In Bottle From Ireland
아일랜드에서 온 병에서 메시지를 발견한 남성
"Wednesday, we were walking and, 1on the way, back we were right at the 2water's edge and there was a 3clump of 4seaweed. And I saw the bottle and I was getting ready to 5throw it out. And then I 6noticed there was a note in it. So, we saved it, got back to our blanket and our chairs we couldn't get it open until we got to the house. And that's when we 7discovered where it was from."
A message in a bottle written back in 2019 and traveling over 3000 miles from Ireland to 8end up here in New Jersey. The note reads 'Greetings from Ireland. I have thrown this bottle into the sea for someone to find another day. Maybe it's 9traveled down to Africa or to Iceland. I won't know if someone found this, but I hope it is found.' The letter, dated July 17, 2019, is signed simply IFA. And in a possible 10twist of fate, Bolger who owns a 11vacation home in Wildwood, 12notes the 13community has a large Irish American 14population.
"Other thing that struck us was North Wildwood is a huge Irish American community and what are the 15odds of finding just I don't know. It's been 16surreal."
Bolger and his family are now on a mission to connect with the writer of the letter. And what better way to do that than through social media? Post has over 700 17shares on Facebook and Bolger's story has made its way to Ireland.
"And I'm getting emails now from Irish TV stations. I got to do an interview on Irish radio at one in the morning tomorrow."
