On Wednesdays at Chelsea elementary School, it's a 2dapper affair. 

"It feels like such a big 3accomplishment. Two guys started wearing shoes."

And those two guys are third-grade students, James Ramage and Lincoln Bolitho. 

"I started wearing it in 2nd grade and then this year he got his suit. And then one day at lunchtime, Mr. P came, and he said, 'Let me know when you'll wear your suit again. I'll wear mine, too.' and we all agreed on Wednesday, and it turned Dapper Day."

The two 8-year-olds and Mr. P or Dean Paquette, showed up to school every Wednesday 4dressed to the nines, and it 5inspired other students and staff to do the same. 

"The main goal for us is making sure that everybody is 6incorporated. Like a lot of times we've been talking about boys. It's boys and girls that are 7involved in this."

Principal Hernandez saw the trend and made Dapper Wednesday official. 

"We support all the things that kids do, right? So that is my job to support them in their 8endeavors. And we're a 9PBIS school, so really supporting the positive, the good that the kids want to do."

"It allows the teachers also to help with the kids 10self-esteem." 

Both students love their sports, hockey 11in particular. 

"He's from Colorado." "So more of an Avalanche guy."

And fans of the Boston Bruins can probably guess who James' favorite player is.

"David Pastrnak." 

They both say they're happy to inspire their classmates and even other schools to 12participate in this new trend that 13exudes 14self-confidence, and they hope the tradition 15carries on. 

"I hope that our legacy here for 'Dapper Wednesday' keeps going 16on and on."
