"One female shot the chest"

 That killed 4cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. 

"People should not be killed in the making of a movie. This was a 5tragedy that should have never happened. Clearly, someone is responsible for the death of Ms. Hutchins." 

Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured when a live 6round of ammunition fired from a 7prop gun held by Baldwin during a scene rehearsal of the Western movie. A 8grand jury in New Mexico 9indicted him on Friday according to court documents.

"Involuntary manslaughter is not suggesting that Alec Baldwin meant to kill anybody. What it does suggest is that there was 10negligence." 

Baldwin has maintained his innocence and says he wasn't aware there was 11Live Ammo in the gun. And in an interview with CNN, he said he didn't 12pull the trigger. If the case moves forward, a jury would have to decide if Baldwin was negligent when using the firearm and if the act was 13committed with the total 14disregard or indifference to the safety of others. 

"Alec Baldwin was told it was a clean gun. So in my opinion, I don't see how this indictment is 15valid." 

Involuntary manslaughter charges against Baldwin in this case were dropped last year after 16prosecutors say they couldn't proceed with the evidence they had and under the 17time constraints. But prosecutors now say new evidence led them to recharge the actor. In a statement to CNN, Baldwin's attorneys responding, 'we look forward to our day in court'.
