Of
course some say winning is all that matters.
These sayings
can be used in a life analogy:
Life is like a
game, and it is also not like a game.
It is not
important whether you win or lose.
You can play the
game however you like.
Winning or
losing would mean that there is a destination.
A destination is
not the same as a purpose.
A purpose is
however you want to play the game.
If one says that
our destination is to cease to exist, then it would seem to me that however you
want to play the game is fine.
If one says that
our destination is a permanent location e.g. heaven or hell, then however you
play the game is still up to you, but it might matter to you whether you win or
lose.
If one says that
there is only a path, or a continuation of all things, and that all things are
impermanent, then however you play the game is still up to you, but you would
think that one would keep their eye on the path, instead of the destination.
If the
destination becomes most important, then it would seem that the current path,
only matters, in that the end results are achieved.
I believe it is
important to many individuals, which way they think.
I believe that
there is only a path. The path varies, depending on nothing and everything. The
location, life form, or no life form, and belief or non-belief varies the path.
I believe
purpose is whatever we choose to do on the path.
I don¡¯t believe
that one can be other than on the path.
I believe that
since I believe that all existence is on a path to no permanent destination,
that all existence affects all other existence including our own.
Since we affect
all other existence, and all other existence affects us, then everything is
interconnected in a way that all existence is in the ¡°same boat¡± so to speak.
I believe that
if all existence becomes mindful of this, (and it may or may not) then it may
be better for all existence.
I believe that
life exists because it wants to.
I believe that
life ¡°wants to¡± because it makes it happy!
