Dieting
seems to have become a way of life for many people, particularly women. It is said that at any one time three out of
four people are on a diet, convinced that this is the magic formula, and that
they will finally look like that model on the television they so envy. What they do not seem to realize is that they
might well lose weight but will inevitably put it all back on - often more
weight than they lost in the first place. The whole exercise may be futile, for some may
be good at the beginning but can¡¯t sustain it, due to same reason, ¡°I don¡¯t
have much time for it anymore¡±. And
people never seem to realize that to lose weight permanently, one needs to
change one¡¯s entire eating lifestyle. Seriously, it is the common cause being
so fat is the wrong kind of food we are eating.
¡°You are what you eat¡±, is an old
adage which I guess most of the people seem to deny it, because it always feels
good to eat a lot, more so, eating your favorite pizza with sizzling rice and
cold cola.
I will
start dieting now, ah oh no!!! I will
attend a birthday bash with my long lost friend tonight! So I will surely start
the next day! Dieting, Let¡¯s Do It! Not, Let¡¯s Do Eat!
