¡°They just got him off, and so he's laying there.¡±
After getting the driver to back up, police tended to Sergeant Dodge. Denver's chief said the truck 13rolled up the back of Dodge's leg, pulling him down.
¡°The driver of the fire engine, he was just sitting there in the truck afterwards, and you could just tell he was kind of 14in shock and just felt 15horrible.¡±

Murray tried to 16calm the crowd. Police lift a Dodge to a UTV to 17rush him to the hospital. The players came off the truck to make their way into the city and county building, 18no doubt shaken by the officer's injury.
