Did Meteorite Destroy a House?

À¯¼ºÀÌ ÁýÀ» Àü¼Ò½ÃŲ °Ç°¡¿ä? 

It¡¯s quiet here in this 1secluded area of Nevada County.

¡°People around here are 2multigenerational 3cattle farmers or 4ranchers.¡±

5Rolling hills were 6cattle graze... where nothing happens...

¡°¡¦ heard a big bang. I started to smell smoke and I went onto my porch and it was completely 7engulfed in flames..

...until Friday night.

¡°Wide open spaces, this was kind of a farm, cattle ranch area and, yeah, not much around it.¡±

It appears this bright ball of light which lit up the dark northern California sky around 7:30 landed in the middle of nowhere.

¡°What do you think hit, hit your house?¡±

¡°They said it was a 8meteor. I, I¡¯ve always watched 9meteor showers and stuff as a kid, but I definitely didn¡¯t look forward to them landing in my yard or through my roof.¡± 

¡°I did not see what it was, but from everybody I talked to was a flaming ball falling from the sky, landed in that 10general area.¡±

The Penn Valley Fire Department along with Cal Fire battled the flames for hours.

¡°11Meteorite, 12asteroid one of those two.¡±

...and are now investigating what started the fire in this rural area.
