Nine-Year-Old Girl Amazes Martial Arts Fans °ÝÅõ±â ÆÒµéÀ» Áñ°Ì°Ô ÇÏ´Â 9»ì ¼Ò³à ¡°Put this foot on the leg, drop down.¡± Sufina Grajo 1practices 2takedowns for her next Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament. At 64 pounds, she may not look too 3intimidating, but when you watch her fight¡¦ ¡°Combatch!¡± ¡¦you can see how she is ranked among the best in the world. ¡°I¡¯m doing pretty good. I¡¯m number 15, 18 years and under, in the whole world.¡± Sufina started learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu two years ago and quickly 4racked up win after win after win against girls and boys. ¡°She really does really well. She¡¯s¡¦ I think in the last 5tournament, she won all of her matches.¡± Now nine, Sufina, who is from Cumberland, Rhode Island and practices at Brazilian Top Team in Taunton, 6has her sights set on an international competition in Florida this July. ¡°I¡¯m really excited for that because last time¡¦ I¡¯m¡¦ I got third place, then the last time I got second place, and now I¡¯m trying to go for gold.¡± ¡°She¡¯s very 7athletic. You know, and she¡¯s very like¡¦ you teach a position, and she really wanna learn.¡± ¡°So you go down.¡± Sufina say she got into this sport so she could 8defend herself against 9bullies as she gets older. Now she wants to be number one in the world. ¡°I learned that I can be really strong and 10skillful. And, I, I just feel really, so I just feel so good doing it.¡±
